Meet the Team

  • Walter Baker

    Lead Director

Walter Baker is entering his 7th year teaching at Klein Forest High School and has been the Theatre Director Lead for the last five years. Previously, he taught Theatre at Northshore High School for five years. He is a passionate theatre artist and my path to teaching comes from the professional world. He has worked as a professional director, actor, stage manager, and technician for over thirty years in New York, Sacramento, Seattle, Cleveland, Louisville, and of course, here in Houston. Local theater work includes Main Street Theatre, Stages Theatre, Unity Theatre, Texas Repertory Theatre, and The Alley Theatre where he was a member of the Young Acting Company. He grew up here in Houston, graduating from Alief Elsik, and then Sam Houston University (BFA Theatre) and Purdue University (MA). He lives in Houston with his wife, Karen Imas, and their cat Leo.

  • Randryck Lewis

Randryck Lewis is a Houston native and lifelong creative whose journey in the performing arts began in early childhood. With a B.A. in Theatre from West Texas A&M and an M.F.A. in Acting from The University of Iowa, Lewis has built a career rooted in the transformative power of storytelling.

As a playwright, performer, educator, and artistic director, he is committed to nurturing the whole artist — creatively, emotionally, and intellectually. His work emphasizes the importance of self-expression, purpose-driven performance, and the power of ensemble collaboration.
